Cedar Point is officially open for the season & I thought I’d share a few pointers in case you were planning a visit soon.
We went on opening day. Yes, there were a few hiccups & I hear they continue to be there with ride closures/maintenance; however, if you go with the mindset of ‘hey, we may not get on everything we want to today & that’s okay,’ I think it helps.
DATES & HOURS
First off, Cedar Point will only be open Friday – Sundays in May.
Starting June 1st, they’ll be open 7 days a week.
Cedar Shores opens May 29th & with the exception of Memorial Day, will be open only on weekends until June 14 when it will then be open 7 days a week.
Cedar Shores was completely closed last year so that’s exciting if you love the waterpark.
From now until 6/13, Frontier Festival is running which is an all-new sunflower inspired festival with fun crafts, shows, musical entertainment, & more.
Keep in mind though – the festival starts at 2PM each day.
Another important thing to know is the new Forbidden Frontier opens June 11th – which was a tad bit disappointing but understandable.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Most important to know is that reservations are REQUIRED right now unless you are staying at one of their hotels, then you’re guaranteed access during your stay.
The belated 150th anniversary celebration begins June 26th. There will be a special parade & other fun activities.
Also worth noting the new mask policy.
Masks are no longer required outside unless you’re unable to remain socially distant. Masks are still required inside for ages 10 & up.
2021 Cedar Point Pre-K Passes are now available! 🙌
@cedarpoint‘s Pre-K pass gives complimentary admission to children ages 3-5 years old.
